Biography

Dr. David Kondrat earned his MSW and PhD in social work from the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University and his BSSW from St. Louis University’s School of Social Work.  Dr. Kondrat is a graduate fellow of the National Institutes of Health, Summer Institute on Randomized Behavioral Clinical Trials. Prior to receiving his PhD, David worked as a case manager for persons with severe mental illness and as a psychiatric social worker in an emergency department.  His research interests include recovery in severe mental illness, mental illness stigma, and case management practice.  Dr. Kondrat is particularly interested in what case managers do that promotes recovery in mental illness.
