Biography

I am a fourth year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program under the mentorship of John McGrew, Ph.D. I am originally from New Jersey and received my undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience, with a minor in Psychology, from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. My clinical and research interests are primarily in the area of autism spectrum disorders. Specifically, I am interested in the psychosocial outcomes of individuals with autism, as well as the burden and stress that are placed upon their family members and caregivers. I am also interested in the development of interventions and evidence-based practices for adults with autism, as well as for those who are transitioning from high school into adulthood, to promote quality of life and optimal outcomes. Additional research areas of interest include shared decision-making and staff burnout among staff members who work with individuals with mental illness and chronic developmental disabilities. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exercising, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
