Lindsey Jones

Research Assistant

Lindsey is a research assistant for the ACT center, and spends the duration of her time assisting Michelle Salyers Ph.D on various project. Lindsey graduated from IUPUI in 2018 with her B.A. in Psychology, and a minor in health education.

Before working with ACT, Lindsey was a research assistant for Matthew Aalsma Ph.D, at the IU School of Medicine – Department of Pediatrics.  While working with Dr. Aalsma, Lindsey’s primary focus was on adolescent preventative health and vulnerable populations. Lindsey has also worked as a research assistant with Jesse Stewart Ph.D., who studies various psychosocial factors associated with cardio metabolic disease.

Lindsey plans to attend graduate school in hopes of earning a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology. Her main research interests include adolescent health disparities, collaborative care interventions, and diabetes prevention. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys hiking, kayaking, going to concerts, and trying new recipes!
